This event is a great one to get athletes dialed and know their line choice and ability. The steeper pitch makes for control and technique category to be weighed a little more heavily by judges. The two runs typically chosen are well marked for hazards, however they organizers still keep enough big features open to make it fun and safe if athletes stay within their ability. This event is not great for first time competitors. But is a great one to get athletes really focused for the rest of the season.
